Especially on the island populated by cormorants diagonally opposite. A sea eagle is also supposed to take a break on a regular basis and cause the cormorants to stir up, as a native told me 🤗

The lake extends over an area of 176 hectares in the nature reserve from its northern bathing area in Klocksdorf to Dechow in the south. At the main entrance, the Klocksdorf fishery jetty, there is a parking lot with an observation tower.
The boardwalk to the observation tower and the observation tower itself are great. Definitely worth going there and climbing up. It's just a shame that there is no seating at the top of the tower. But you can sit on the benches at the bottom of the tower and enjoy the great views.
