On top of the Haldenkuppe, an open amphitheater in the Greek style was created from mountain material. It offers space for 800 visitors and was opened in 1999. Great view of the area.

The heap itself is a popular destination in the north of Oberhausen, which, in addition to walking, cycling and kite flying, also has a crossroads and much artistic offer. The predominantly greened, about 100 m above the adjacent colliery projecting heap but also offers a wonderful view of the mine Prosper -Haniel and the northwestern Ruhr area.
