The Hofweg - also known as the Uddel gravel road - is a hard gravel road in Kroondomein het Loo, which is freely accessible all year round (also during the closure of large parts of the Kroondomein in the autumn). The gravel road is a bit rough here and there, but is generally fine to cycle with a racing bike. In the forest a slight climb / descent, on the heath beautiful flat with beautiful views. Recommended!

A very fast, very fun big ass gravel road. The gravel road is partly in the woods and partly in between the heather fields. The part in the woods is more twisty and a little bit up and down and then the open part in the fields is just a long straight where you can put the hammer down!

Wouter describes the comfortable route from Aardhuisweg back towards Uddel. It's fun to do, especially in wet weather, as you and your bike will arrive covered in fine white spray. But if you're looking for a real challenge, go the other way: first, an endless, gently ascending straight path through the heathland, and just when your legs start to feel the heat, there's the heart-pumping winding path through the trees. Actually, it's more fun.
