One of the largest collections of palm trees from around the world in Europe and a prime example of sustainability: The complex was built on a former dump, which was previously a major problem for the city's inhabitants due to its evaporation. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city is just right. The view of the concrete-heavy Santa Cruz forms a striking contrast to the green of the garden. You can explore the garden yourself, or take part in guided tours (for a surcharge)

Definitely a worth seeing place. The 6, - € (for adults) entrance worthwhile in any case

Beautiful and well-kept area, interesting for everyone who has something for botany or gardens or just want to walk in beautiful surroundings (great view).
Perhaps less interesting for children, there is no playground, and some areas of the complex were closed for our visit.
Combo ticket for Palmetum and Maritimo right next door is recommended, so you can spend a nice day in Santa Cruz.
