The Twannbach Gorge is one of the most beautiful in this region. The inspection costs CHF 2.00 and the proceeds are used to maintain the paths and protect this unique gorge.

Also descended from the Velosattel there is one or the other interesting thing to experience. After the wide views of the lake, the deep and shady twists of the Twannbachschlucht on hot summer days offer an immersion in the cool freshness of the forest and thus a very special treat. The narrow ravine is wild and romantic and is a very worthwhile detour to climb down from the saddle to represent the feet.
