Even if the promenade is pretty much concreted, you can have a good holiday here, not least because of the abundant gastronomy. Particularly exciting is the search for the bears - the heraldic animal of Bensersiel - set up throughout the local area.

In Bensersiel, the fine, gently sloping sandy beach attracts you to relax and swim. While the big ones make themselves comfortable in the beach chair, the little ones dig in the sand, splash around in the sea or in the seawater outdoor pool or romp in "Bennis Adventure Land". In the immediate vicinity is the 5-star beach and family campsite with a view of the North Sea. Only 4 km away is the bear town of Esens with numerous shops, cafés and restaurants as well as a historic market square.
