It is mandatory to register for the visit. It's pretty easy to do over the phone. You can then explore the site alone or with a guide. The organization will benefit from the entrance fee and the not exactly small amounts for photography. From my point of view absolutely recommendable.

Unfortunately, my photos were all taken from outside, the area is completely hidden in the forest. Unfortunately, you can't get in legally, but apparently rare guided tours are still offered.
