The Teichstein is one of the real insider tips of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. There are hardly any people there because the mountain is not widely advertised. The entrance is inconspicuous, but the view is magnificent.

The ascent is only possible from one side (east) and can be reached by a narrower path, secured with a steel chain. On the ridge, the forest opens up to great views in the northern direction (Kanstein and Heulenstein) and southern direction (Bohemian Switzerland).
At the front you can enjoy a great view of the monkey stones, the Great Zschand, the arsenal, etc.
