The ARD Capital Studio is a joint institution of all ARD state broadcasters based in Wilhelmstrasse in the Berlin district of Mitte, in close proximity to the Reichstag building and other centers of federal politics, which is reported from the studio. It was opened at the same time as the Federal Government moved from Bonn to Berlin in 1999. The director of the ARD Capital Studio is Tina Hassel since 2015.
