Beautiful medieval bridge over the Sesia river, with fabulous views both towards Monte Rosa and towards the valley.
In the Napoleonic era the river marked the border between the French Empire and the Cisalpine Republic, the Napoleonic troops garrisoned the bridge where the customs house was located and the holes of the bayonets mounted on the rifles are still visible.
