On the occasion of the Mülheim Garden Show (MüGa) 1992, a new pedestrian bridge was created across the Bergstrasse between the city hall area and the area at the adult education center. It is slightly increasing. Mülheim sculptor Ernst Rasche created sculptures for the bridge crossing in relation to the overall ensemble.
