This rock formation is located in the bed of the Psekups River, and is the slope of Abadzekh Mountain.
The name “Cockerel” appeared because there are 6 teeth at the top of the mountain and from the outside they resemble a cockscomb.
The second name “Salvation” appeared according to legend.
Legend has it that those sentenced to death were given the opportunity to escape punishment through exile. They could escape along the “Ladder of Life” and hide in forests and caves.
