Kranjska Gora is a well-known hotspot for winter and summer sports. The downhill routes are legendary. If you want something more dignified, the train bike path to Tarvisio in Italy is a nice option. A little outside of the village towards the Vršičpass there is the wonderfully clear Lake Jasna, which offers great refreshment, especially after an extended bike tour.

Kranjska Gora is known as the venue of the Ski Jumping World Cup, but also offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor sports in the summer. On a road bike tour it pays to pause for a while, there are plenty of opportunities for a small or large meal stop.
