For safety reasons, the bridge had to be built over the railway line. Two passenger trains per hour. Unfortunately, the cycle path continues to Schlema lower station with the route over the former dump with a beautiful view but also with a steep climb. You could drive straight ahead over the tunnel portal (instead of at the hairpin to the heap). Unfortunately not well developed and signposted.

This new wheel bridge was built over the railway line near the old iron bridge in Bad Schlema. The Muldenradweg, the Jakobsweg and the Karlsroute meet here.

Very easy to ride on by bike, at least when it is dry. When wet, it could be slippery because of the metal.
