Originally built in the 1920s in the style of a British house of worship, the Coptic Church of St. Schinuda Father of the Hermits is one of the few Christian churches in the region. In 2008 it was completely demolished and rebuilt a year later. Since then, the facade of the beautiful sacred building has been shining in pure white. The tall, slender church towers can be seen from afar. Visitors can view the church daily from sunrise to sunset. Visitors can visit the church every day from sunrise to sunset.
