The view from the summit of Beentee is really fantastic: Below you is the town of Cahersiveen directly on a narrow inlet. From here you can see several islands, the largest is Valentia Island. In the north you can see as far as the Dingle Peninsula in good weather.

It is a decent run up the side of Bentee but the view from the summit is really fantastic: In the north is the town of Cahersiveen and beyond that the Dingle peninsula. To the south west is Beginish Island adjacent to the larger Valentia Island.
