The Peace City is a social and religious settlement work, which today belongs to the Johannine Church. Founded in 1920 by Joseph Weissenberg. Expropriated during the Nazi regime and used by the SS. Also a branch office of the concentration camp Sachsenhausen was there. After the war, the Red Army used the area as Garrison Glau.

Originally built as a retirement home in 1930, it is the largest and most comfortable house in Friedensstadt.

After the forced takeover by the Waffen-SS, the commandant's office was set up here.

Post World War II command center of the Red Army Garrison Glau.

Today residential and meeting place as well as social center. Now bears the name of the head of the Johannische Kirche, Frieda Müller.
