The tower is accessible, but be careful: lots of steps, steep stairs and little opportunity to avoid oncoming traffic. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth it - the panoramic view from above is gigantic!
On the way back down, I first saw how low two passages with stone ceilings are and how narrow the steps look from above.

Steinsberg Castle, the compass of the Kraichgau, is visible from afar on a basalt cone between Sinsheim and Weiler. Eventful guided tours and gastronomy in the former residential and farm buildings are among the attractions in the historic ambience. Well preserved and restored, that draws a lot of tourists up here.
The highest point in the Kraichgau is definitely worth the effort.
A little below at the St. Anna Chapel you will find the desired rest and relaxation.
