These gigantic silver glasses, made of stainless steel, are made by the Limburg artist Liliane Vertessen and were commissioned by the province of Limburg.
The image expresses a contrast. On the one hand there is the connection with the earth (plinth), and on the other hand there is the possibility to escape from that same earth. Looking to realize his own dream.
'Seeing' here means observing, looking and recognizing.
'Zen' means transcending, being open, acknowledging and giving direction.
After all, 'being' stands for recognizing, vigilance, progress and waiting.
