The Botanical Garden of Liège is the former botanical garden of the University of Liège, Belgium. The park, not far from the city center, offers a green environment to the residents of the district. There are some rare types of trees from all continents.

The former botanical garden of the University of Liège has become a municipal park of some 3 hectares which houses around 400 trees and shrubs, some of which were planted between 1841 and 1854, when the garden was created.
The park includes a pond and a group of listed buildings (former greenhouses and premises of the University's botanical and pharmacy institutes). (Http://botaniqueliege.be/)
Every year in mid-February the lawns are adorned with thousands of purple crocuses that dazzle visitors
