Jugendhof Vlotho was founded in 1946 and is one of the oldest educational institutions in Germany. Since 1954, the Jugendhof has belonged to the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe (LWL) and, as part of the LWL Department for Youth and Schools, offers further training for specialists in child and youth welfare.
