Imposing weir and lock complex, you can also walk a bit along the outer harbor. At the moment, the gates of the weir are completely open when the water is high, so you can really see their size.

The Driel dam and lock complex is located in the Lower Rhine near the village of Driel in the municipality of Overbetuwe, in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It consists of a weir and a lock. The complex is the same as that at Hagestein and that at Amerongen. With these three dams together, a large part of the water management of the Netherlands can be regulated.

The weir has a passage width of 48 meters and a height of 20.6 meters when opened.
