The city center is highly recommended! There are lots of small shops and great cafés here, far away from the monotony.

Bruneck
Bruneck, also known as the city on the Rienz, lies at 838 m and has around 11,000 inhabitants at the foot of the 2,275 m high Kronplatz. Strolling through the city lane with its crenellated and colorfully painted facades is definitely worth a visit. Since June 2011, Reinhold Messner has opened his 5th MMM at Bruneck Castle.
At the summit of Kronplatz is Concordia, a mighty bell that rings every day on time at lunchtime.
