The Lohse Park with the memorial "Hannoverscher Bahnhof" forms a unit. It is a green place of relaxation and reflection in the city. In the Nazi era, the Jews, Sinti and Roma were deported from here. 8000 names are engraved and form a memory of a place of horror.

On the east side of Lohse Park you will find the monument Hannoverscher Bahnhof. This is a memorial site, which is intended to commemorate the deportations during the period of National Socialism, which were carried out on the then existing station there.
In addition to the showcases with the names of the deportees, one finds tracks that run into the void and the replica of the old platform.
A place for reflection and information.

A free, more than 500m long visual axis from Baakenhafen to Ericusspitze (mirror building) should reach out like a long green ribbon from water to water. The park has already planted quite large trees, there are plenty of seating and a large playground. The park invites you to linger.
