From Ayala Cove, hikers can easily access the Perimeter Road, a 5-mile paved loop that circles the island, offering continuous panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz. This trail is suitable for all skill levels and is popular for both hiking and biking.
