Shortly before Veles is the Mladostsee - the youth lake. Here is the 4 star Hotel Romantique with terrace and pool right on the lake. A little further away is a hotel in the form of a ship. The lake is very romantic and invites you to swim and relax. The lane of the Alexander von Macedonia motorway in a northerly direction runs directly along Lake Mladost. The area is dominated by agriculture and a well-known wine-growing area.

Important: Under no circumstances should you swim or fish here! The lake water is heavily polluted.
Unfortunately, I can only advise against a visit. Lake Mladost was once a beautiful local recreation area. Now, authorities warn against even coming into contact with the water because it is so heavily polluted. Various pathogens have been detected there. The water is no longer even allowed to be used to water fields. The shore is also, unfortunately, quite neglected. The promenade is unkempt, and the benches are rotting. The forest surrounding the lake no longer exists, as most of it burned down.
