The old town is characterized by lovingly restored half-timbered houses from the 17th and 18th centuries, nestled along Schloßstraße and in the winding alleys. Many of these buildings are listed buildings and tell the story of the city's long history – from the Teutonic Order to today's wine-growing culture.

The path to Hornberg Castle is varied and offers beautiful views. The rest of the path mostly runs through the forest and is a bit monotonous.
Guttenberg Castle opposite should definitely be visited because of the bird of prey show without fences and the bird of prey flight shows.
