The moor adventure trail is part of the Vogeldamm cycling and hiking trail between the moor huts on the northern shore of Lake Steinhude and the Großenheidorn observation tower in the east. The main sections include an observation platform with a great view and a footbridge over growing moorland: peat mosses, cotton grasses and sundews can be observed up close. Numerous display boards present the special features of the landscape in pictures and text and give visitors detailed information.
