The Wuppertal Junior Uni for the Bergisches Land is an extracurricular place of education for children, adolescents and young adults between the ages of four and 20.
With its extensive course program of up to 700 courses per year, the junior university is geared towards the needs of young researchers. If you want to attend a course at the Junior Uni to learn, research, experiment or work in a practical way, you don’t have to meet any requirements such as a certain level of knowledge, learning experience proven by grades or similar. Everyone is welcome here!

On January 11, 2018, a sculpture by the Wuppertal sculptor with English roots, Tony Cragg, was unveiled at the Junior Uni am Loh. The occasion was the 10th anniversary of the junior university. The bright red sculpture is a gift from the artist and consists of two pillars, which consist of deformed and stacked cubes. The surface is littered with numbers. The sculpture weighs 480 kilograms, is 2.90 meters high and was named “piece by piece”.
