The castle Sallgast is unfortunately closed to visitors. Contrary to the note on the sign is no more gastronomy in the castle. Only the mayor of Sallgast has his office in the castle and the Heimatverein maintains a Heimatstube. On 14. and 15.9.19 the Parkfest Sallgast takes place. The castle is open to the public this weekend. The well-kept castle park is open to the public all year round.
