In the past, graduation towers were used to extract salt by slowly evaporating the water. The resulting “artificial sea air” is also good for your health. So good that today we find graduation towers mainly in places of relaxation. This is also the case here, in the Mattlerbusch Revierpark. The Niederrheintherme, the show farm and the diverse park all around offer many opportunities to enjoy yourself.

Gardierwerke used to be used for salt production, but today they serve to improve the health of body and mind.
Bundles of twigs are sprinkled with brine, i.e. salty water. The resulting salty air has an expectorant, relaxing effect and improves lung function. So just sit on a bench and let your mind wander!
