Dating from 1827 and standing on the west flank of the Molenberg. He was the
pride of the miller family De Vis. It has been out of use since 1952.
The mill house where Professor Henri De Vis lived has been preserved. The
mill and miller's house have been sold to the Krauch family in
2015. They are restoring the entire site.

At the beginning of the Roman Road, we see the restored Nieuwe Molen (New Mill) on the right. This stone mill was built in 1827 by the De Vis family and remained in their ownership until 2015. That same year, the mill and the adjacent 'Verbrugghen' estate were purchased by the Krauch family, who had the mill house and mill beautifully restored. A 'wind fish' adorns the top of the mill, a tribute to the many generations of De Vis who lived there.
