It is a closed complex where, in addition to the farmhouse, there are three other buildings, all around a courtyard. The central building is a large square-plan house with a ground floor and two floors, of three bodies with perpendicular ridges. The roof is of Arabic tile on two sides. All the corners are of worked stone. On the main facade stands out an arched portal dated 1773, where on both sides, slightly higher, there are 2 sgraffitos (poorly preserved) also from the same period and a sundial. Above the portal is a balcony with worked stone.

Cerdà de la Garga is the most important village in Pla de la Garga, which is an erosion plateau at the head of the Gorge, which ranges between 640 and 800 meters above sea level and is made up by the calcareous material of the Cingles de Bertí.
