The lighthouse is extraordinary. Its structure and height are striking. It's no wonder, as it's one of the tallest in the world, but of those built of brick, it's actually the tallest in the world. It's open to the public. 308 steps lead to its summit.

From here, it offers a fascinating view, especially with those cranes nearby!

Yürüyüş

The Swina / Swine, which runs through Swinoujscie, separates the two islands of Usdeom and Wollin from each other, so that it extends over both islands. Here I was only on foot on the Usedom part.

On a later (recorded) tour, I used one of the two free (large) car ferries to advance further inland.

Yürüyüş

The Polish Świnoujście is only a short boat ride away from the Three Emperors baths on Usedom. During our holiday in Heringsdorf 2006 we had used the beautiful weather for a boat tour from Heringsdorf to Swinoujscie and back. In between, we had time to explore the sights of Świnoujście by foot. An absolutely recommendable tour.
