Tournai, or Doornik in Flemish, is the second oldest city in Belgium. It looks back on a particularly eventful history, which is also reflected in the architecture of the past centuries. The Grand Place is the center of the excellently preserved medieval city center. Here you can admire, among other things, Belgium's oldest belfry, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Take your time to admire everything that unfolds in front of you on the triangular Grote Markt. right in front of you the Cloth Hall, on the left the belfry and in the center of the market square a statue. on the right you see the church of St Quentin. All architectural styles together on one square: Gothic, Renaissance, Romanesque.
