The "Bächle" is artificially fed by three fountains near the moated castle and runs completely through the town centre of Bad Rappenau to the Kursene lake. It was built on the occasion of the 2008 State Garden Show.

A very beautiful and well-developed pedestrian / bicycle path leads along the Bad Rappenau Mühlbach, which the Rappenau lovingly call "Bächle" in this area. The Bächle flows through the entire city center from the castle park with its moated castle to the Kurparksee. In its current form, the park and the Mühlbach were completely redesigned here for the 2008 State Garden Show. A really very nice park with many resting places and a recommended beer garden on the Kurparksee.
