    It's not far from this Ritterstein to the Palatinate World Axis. There's a parking lot right next door, and then there's a nice big stone that proudly proclaims "Kaiserslautern".

    When the wood was once brought from the Kaiserslautern forest over the pass to the Leinbachtal to the Drift, there was a house up here with a stable for the harness horses, because this is where the animals were changed for protection.
