A beautiful view of the Regnitz and the port of Forchheim on one side and the lock island and Forchheim Burk on the other side. The bridge is equipped with two statues.

Beautiful bridge. Offers a fantastic view of the harbor. Heading out of town, you pass the Marter (martyr's church). Before the cycle path turns back to the Regnitz River, you pass the Siechenhaus Chapel.

This is the “Old Regnitz Bridge” in Forchheim.
Due to the construction of the RMD canal, it now only runs over the backwater of the Regnitz. Enclosed is the so-called sports island (local recreation) and motorhome parking space.
Architectural monument, sandstone block building, 16th to 18th century; with bridge figure of Saint Johann Nepomuk, around 1746 and Mother of God.
