Letur was declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1983, as it is the best-preserved medieval route of Muslim origin in Albacete. Among the main monuments of the historic center of Letur are the Church of the Assumption, the Convent of San Francisco and the Town Hall. In addition, in the historic center of Letur you can find numerous cobbled streets and squares, as well as a large number of manor houses from the 18th and 19th centuries.

But it is undoubtedly the heritage of the Andalusian legacy that has brought beauty and personality to the peculiar urban structure of Letur, crossed by irrigation ditches and a multitude of walkways. The good conservation of the town, one of the jewels of Castilla La Mancha, led to Letur being declared a Historic Artistic Site in 1983. To enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the town there are several short and easy trails. Hiking fans can access the Segura Canyon via the Regalí Trail.
