The Holland Pop Festival was a three-day pop festival in 1970, in the Kralingse Bos in Rotterdam. The musical event went down in history as the Dutch version of the American Woodstock Festival in 1969. Despite the rain, tens of thousands of people attended. (from: Wikipedia)

As a teenager, I spent several days listening to music from the fence on my racing bike. Back home, they thought I'd been training for ages again...
I found it incredibly fascinating.
It was also the first multi-day festival on mainland Europe. Naturally, it was heavily inspired by the Woodstock festival held in the US the year before.
