Heusden, with its many small streets, windmills, pleasant square and a walk around a unique fortified town, is definitely worth a visit.

In this beautiful historic Vismarkt (fish market) here in Heusden, with its worth seeing old and historic house fronts, everything happens in fine weather.
Space in one of the many good and cozy street restaurants is then hardly to get.
Despite everything, one should take the time to explore this pretty town, also culinary.
The visitor center or tourist information can be found in the old town hall.
The many pretty shops invite you to visit and be amazed and also open on Sundays ...

Boat trips on the Bergsche Maas can be booked from here, the trip takes about an hour, is comfortable and a gastronomy on the ship 🚢 is also available.
The story of this old fortress city, but also the recent history of the inglorious Nazi era,
is very informative and is also told interesting.
