The Ponta do Sossego viewpoint belongs to the municipality of Nordeste and was inaugurated on July 18, 1995. It offers a wide view of the north coast of the island of Sao Miguel and part of the north-eastern mountains. From here you can see Fajã do Araújo, Ponta da Madrugada and Ponta da Marquesa.

A nice little park. It is located directly on the coastal road and also offers some parking spaces. So you can stop and enjoy this wonderful nature in this beautiful park. And if you walk further towards the sea you have a great view of the coast, rocks and the sea.
