There is always a lot to discover within sight of the shore. Visitors can experience sea eagles and migratory birds, but also historical buildings such as Eutin Castle and the open-air swimming pool built in the Wilhelminian style, from the ship's perspective.

Fishing is permitted in the Great Eutiner Lake. Here you will mainly find whitefish and perch, and professionals with local knowledge can even catch eels during the day.

Anglers from other federal states who already have a fishing license pay the so-called fishing fee. In Schleswig-Holstein, this is 10 euros and can be purchased online or from the local regulatory authorities, port authorities and branch offices of the fisheries inspectorate. The fee stamp is stuck on a supplementary license, which must be carried when fishing together with the fishing license from the home federal state and, if applicable, the permit/fishing card for the respective body of water. The fishing license is compulsory from the age of 12.
