The Stadthaus tower in Westphalian Münster is the only surviving part of the former townhouse. It is located at the southern end of the Prinzipalmarkt, right next to the office of Westfälische Nachrichten. The house and thus also the tower were designed in the years 1902-1907 by Alfred Hensen, after the previously located in the same place Löwenapotheke, Stadtlegge and the city cellar had been removed. The townhouse itself was destroyed in World War II, but the tower survived the war almost undamaged.

The tower of the old town house survived the war. The actual townhouse was completely destroyed. In the tower is z.Z. The Open Childcare "Maxi Tower" has been set up where children can play for a few hours and parents can visit the city (For children from 3 to 10 years).
