The Bunkers des Ecardines are a group of historic bunkers that are part of the Atlantic Wall, built by the German occupiers during the Second World War. These bunkers are located near Oye-Plage. They were originally designed to defend the coastline from enemy attacks.

On the beach along the former west wall can be found everywhere these remnants of the war. Partially painted, decorated or simply plain concrete. Most are not beautiful - but important witnesses and memorials.
