The Roßbach spring is located below the path on the premium tour "Fountain and Spring Trail". It is marked with the "Rossbrunnen" sign in the style of the Rittersteine, and is currently a little difficult to reach, either down the slope or through undergrowth; the spring water flows directly from the ground. It is noteworthy that all the ponds and lakes in the valley are fed from this spring.

The beautiful name stone with golden yellow writing is located several meters above and southeast of this spring. The meadow path to the spring is overgrown (only in summer?) (as of September 13, 2024). You can therefore only climb down directly from the hiking trail to the spring (very steep!). The Rossbach (--> Spießbach --> Sauer --> Rhein) springs from here.
