A fragmented quartz vein of the Czech Quartz Hill rises from a rocky ridge above the surrounding surface. Frost weathering has fractured the quartz vein into many bizarre rock formations. In the area surrounding the Frost Huts, boulders, rock towers, and crevices complement the slopes. Stone and gravel were mined here in small quarries until 1946.

The Czechs call these bizarre quartz rocks "Goethe's Rock Garden." A more fitting name than "Goethe Rock" for the 400-meter-long and 10-meter-wide rock formation.

Here a commemorative plaque commemorates the local residence of the poet J. W. Gothe. The natural attraction is formed by a rock formation that is 400 m long and 10 m wide. The rock wall reaches a height of 3 to 15 m. In the rock face there are a series of columns that divide the rock into several parts. The rock forms a gray and white quartz and is one of the few quartz surveys in the other granite corpus. The highest point is the Goetheberg (670 above sea level), from its summit there is a wonderful view.
