Omegna sits on the north tip of this small yet very nice lake in the region of Piedmont in northern Italy. Just a small and charming lake town Omegna is famous for its mixed architecture and lake promenade. The town offers a number of cozy lake front cafes and restaurant where you can taste a coffee or eat "Al fresco" by the waterfront. If in the area you must visit the old town, the Sant'Ambrogio church and the "Parco della Fantasia" a small and cheerful theme park dedicated to kids and those sitll young at heart!
