You can enjoy great views on the Hochuferweg. In the beech forest of the Jasmund National Park, a few meters of altitude have to be overcome. The breathtaking views are worth every step. Since the chalk cliffs face east or south-east, you should be there in the morning when the sun is shining. Then the rocks shine most beautifully.

The imposing chalk coast with the famous Königsstuhl in the Jasmund National Park is the landmark of the island of Rügen and for many tourists the highlight among the sights. The hike over the high waterway from Sassnitz to Lohme past the famous Königsstuhl offers unique views of the Baltic Sea and the Cretaceous and is one of the most beautiful hiking trails on the island.
