After a hot hiking tour you save the 5th lake of the 5-lake hike (and the descent by train) and walk through shady forests always along the rushing Findelbach. If you want to go to the train station, you can end up exploring Zermatt from one end to the other.

An easy trail through the forest on the south side of the Findelbach stream, which flows in a gorge below. It's delightful through the forest of spruce, larch, and stone pine. Further east, you'll walk closer to the mountain stream. At point 2022, there's a bridge to the other side and a path to Findeln. It's a more pleasant trail than the one on the north side of the stream.
